Got induced on dec 26th, woke up at 5 am to get ready so we can be at the hospital at 7:10 am, after got getting sleep from being so anxious about meeting this little guy, finally 6:30 came and we went to the hospital, getting there we had to do paperwork and they took us to room 6 about 7:15 nurse came in and we got everything started, had to get poked twice for the IV which wasent too bad, but the dr Horvath came in at 7:45 and broke my water, which wasent bad at all either but when 830 came around I was feeling strong contractions very painful! I was already dialated to a 3 so didn't take much to get strong contractions, by 9 I was in a lot pAin and the epidural guy still hasent came so she gave me a little drug to help with the pain, which it worked but only for 20 mins! By 10 Alcock I finally got my epidural! It took 2 pokes in my back and 3 catheters to finally get it going, the shock down my leg was the worst, but the relief I got from it was the best! It gave me the shakes really bad, I was freezing but not in pain which was nice! And I was dialated to a 6 at 11 so by the time 1 Alcock came I was fully dialated and started pushing I was pushing till 1:20 and they told me to stop and I had to sit there with him in the birthing canal untill Horvath came back cause there was 3 of us delivering at the same time so once 1:40 came Horvath came and I pushed twice and he was out, the cord was wrapped around his neck too so Matt got to cut a little bit of it since she had to cut most of to get him out fully but he came out screaming and they put him on my belly and cleaned him up, the we got to do skin to skin which I never got with the other two cause there was respiratory stress with the cord wrapped around the neck, so he was born at 1:45 pm healthy as can be, they put him on the scale and to our surprise 8lbs and 3.7 oz!! 20 in long! Amazing! I never thought I would have a 8 lb baby but I also had two due dates and the gender ultra sound said dec 24th so that would of made me 40 weeks and 2 days, the other ultra sound was jan 2nd which would make me exactly 39 weeks! So by how big he was I'm pretty sure I was 40 weeks, this pregnancy was very unexpected but the easiest pregnancy till the end! I. Was really uncomfortable which mason! He was always in my ribs and I had numb hips and legs and I was always so sore but other then that it was a good pregnancy, labor and recovery! I only tore a little and had a few stitches! I lost 13 lbs with him out! He is such a good amazing baby! Couldn't of asked for a better experience!
